Christmas is coming! I love Christmas – most importantly because it reminds me that Christ came to earth as a baby to in turn grow into a man, walk an example for me to follow, die to take the punishment for my sins, and rise again in victory!
But I also love Christmas from a “human” standpoint. I love the Christmas spirit, the nativity scene (wisemen appropriately relocated somewhere across the room), the music, Christmas caroling with my church, hot chocolate, fires in the fireplace, eggnog, family gatherings, buckeyes, and most especially, I love watching my family open the gifts I bought or made for them. I’m kind of a compulsive gift giver, and I love finding gifts with stories behind them. Giving is such an essential part of Christmas, both the “human” side and the spiritual side. Christ is God’s greatest gift to mankind.
This Christmas season (as in, next week), I’m going to be putting together a post with a bunch of Christmas gift ideas. One of my favorite things about blogging is having a platform to share other people’s work. Since I love seeing people’s creativity and like supporting cottage businesses, I’d like to include some of y’all, my faithful readers, in this Christmas gift roundup! If you have a product to sell that you would like included in this roundup, email me through my contact form here describing your product, giving me a little background about your business, and providing me with a link to wherever you sell your product from. You must have a business page of some sort, be that a website, an Etsy shop, or a business Facebook page. I will check into your product/business and decide whether or not it is something I can include in my roundup (I have to be careful what I attach my name to, so I retain all right to refuse), and if I think your product is a good fit for my list, I’ll ask you for a picture for me to include in the roundup. **This is specifically for things you make yourself; I will not be promoting dealers in this post (just to keep things simple).** There are no strings attached here! I will include your picture, maybe a brief summary of your product, and a link to your business page in the roundup. If you’re included and would like to share the finished Christmas gift roundup post on your various platforms, that would be great but it’s not mandatory.
I’d like to have your emails by the end of this week (December 5th) so I can get the post ready for next week. Again, you can contact me here. And…GO!

Hi Sarah! Unfortunately I’m not planning on doing this again this year. With my cookbook being released December 9th, I’ve just had too many things on my plate to do it justice. 🙂

I love this idea! I’m not a crafter, but loving buying from real people, not distributors.
