In exchange for doing this giveaway, Something’s Steeping gave me 2 bags of tea for review. As always, all opinions are definitely my own. Scroll down to the bottom of this post to enter via the Rafflecopter widget. One of my blessed readers will win their choice of 3 bags of tea from Something’s Steeping’s Etsy shop!
Do you like tea? I like tea. Let’s have a tea party. I’ll furnish the tea, courtesy of Something’s Steeping; and you can bring a dainty tea-table snack to share. Actually, skip that. You don’t have to bring anything because I have brownies, Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake, raspberry swirl cheesecake (nope – actually I finished that up yesterday), a few scoops of two different kinds of ice cream, a small piece of a frozen mocha dessert, two popsicles made out of excess cheesecake ice cream, and some Christmas Cracker Toffee on hand. Plus some stuff that I pushed into the freezer a few weeks ago (and now I forget what all is in there). Let’s just say that I only have a few recipes left in my cookbook testing, and I’m making them as fast as I can so I can finish and we are over-run with goodies right now. So a tea party might just be in order. Now, shall I make some tea recommendations?
When Amanda approached me about doing a review and giveaway, I took a look at her Etsy shop and agreed. Amanda has so many unique flavors of tea! I mean seriously, mint chocolate chip, watermelon, mango, vanilla chai…and the one that immediately caught my eye: Belgian Chocolate. I happen to love chocolate. But would it actually taste like chocolate?
Amanda sent me a package of the Belgian Chocolate tea as well as her Candy Ginger Peach variety, which she said was a fan favorite. Of course I tried the chocolate one first – and I was amazed! It actually did taste like chocolate! With a little bit of stevia, it was like dessert! I’ve definitely found a new favorite.
The Candy Ginger Peach tea is good too – but I have to admit, the chocolate stole the show for me. 😉 Both are obviously very high-quality teas. They smell super fresh, and they’re quite strong. I usually make 2 mugs of tea from each serving of tea in my tea ball (I never measure; just shake some in). The second batch just needs to steep a little longer than the first.
Are you a tea lover? I am! I’ve never been able to enjoy coffee, so tea is my go-to for caffeine, flavor, something with which to occupy myself, or as a warm-up on a cold day. Even when it’s hot outside, tea can come in handy! I’m sure many of Amanda’s teas would make great variations of my Iced Vanilla Chai recipe! (Something’s Steeping actually has a vanilla chai tea right here.)
What’s your favorite variety of tea? Which kind from Amanda’s shop would you most like to try? Does chocolate tea sound good to you? Let me know in the comments section below!
Heads-up! Amanda is running a “Christmas in July” sale over in her Etsy shop right now! If you use the code 10OFF, you can get 10% off your entire purchase! Click here to check out the impressive selection of loose-leaf teas from Something’s Steeping’s Etsy shop.

I’m new to drinking anything other than iced tea, but these flavors sound amazing! Would love to win and get a sampler, but will probably make a purchase regardless! LOL

I love teas and I have a lemon balm plant that I have been harvesting but I can’t seem to locate a tea ball to put my tea leaves in. Can anyone recommend a decent place to locate? I love the teas listed and can’t wait to try them all.

I found one at a thrift store, and a lot of malls have tea stores that would carry them. Of course Amazon would have them as well. 🙂

Thank you. I will give those places a try. 🙂

Does the chocolate tea have caffeine? I’m asking since you mentioned it would be a good dessert. I’m not good with caffeine before bed 🙂
Briana Thomas says
The chocolate tea has a Rooibos base which is naturally not caffeinated, but I’m sure there’s a little bit of caffeine from the chocolate. I doubt it’s a lot, though. 🙂

I LOVE flavored tea! Thanks for the heads up on this new shop to try!
