Hey guys! I’m starting something new: a weekly series called “Favorites Friday.” Each Friday I’ll be sharing some of my favorite things from all different areas of life.
5 of my favorite CDs:
The King’s Singers are one of my favorite groups ever. This CD (which my dear cousin just recently gave to me) is full of so many classics.
This is the most hysterical sound-track you will ever listen to.
Hayley Westenra has the most beautiful soprano voice (apart from Sissel) that I have ever heard. This CD is the first one she produced.
Note – Two years later, I’m a bit more careful about my music tastes. I no longer consider a lot of the music on this CD to be worth listening to.
This CD is from the Soundforth Singers and Orchestra and is called “A Quiet Heart.” It’s a beautiful sacred music CD (that is currently playing upstairs as I type) and has a lot of my favorite songs on it, including “We Are Not Alone.”
Here’s another beautiful CD from Hayley (who is a former member of Celtic Woman). This has a lot of Celtic classics on it, and Hayley and Meav (another former Celtic Woman member) sing a beautiful arrangement of “Last Rose of Summer.”
5 of my favorite food bloggers (not necessarily Trim Healthy Mama approved):
5 of my favorite horse videos:
Stacy Westfall’s Bareback Brideless Championship Reining Freestyle from 2006
Country Pleasure Driving Class Gone Wrong – how can something be so terrible yet so funny at the same time?
A close relationship-Henke and Spons
Let me know down below if you have any favorites I should check out! 🙂
Stay tuned for a S’mores Pie recipe later today…

Hi! I recently discovered your blog. I love it and think I’ll be visiting more often! I love all your THM recipes. The post about your music journey was inspirational too. My husband and I love sacred choral/classical music. One of our new favorites is The Sixteen’s Christmas albums A Traditional Christmas Carol Collection I & II. KS also happens to be one of our all-time favorite groups ?
