Hello, hello, my friends! How’s summer treating you? Since July happens to be National Ice Cream Month, I thought it only appropriate to do a blog post highlighting some of the ice cream recipes I’ve posted or tweaked since last year’s ice cream recipe roundup (which you can check out here). Keep scrollin’ for a list.
You can click here to see my complete ice cream recipe index (in pictures):
There is a brand new ice cream recipe coming your way later this week (picture below)…#sneak peek…. I suppose now would be a good time to tell you that there will be several exclusive ice cream and ice cream-ish recipes included in my upcoming cookbook (which should be available for preorder here on my website in September or October)! Ice cream toppings, ice cream bars, ice cream cake, and ice cream in general…all will be included!
You can pin this post here for easy access later:
You can find a large section of ice cream and frozen dessert recipes in my cookbook, Necessary Food.

Hey, it’s so nice that you answer peoples’ questions in your comments; not everyone does that. I really appreciate it.
So thanks. 🙂

That’s what I’m here for. 😉

Oh, I was wondering if you could help me—I asked this question on the THM forum, but never got a very helpful answer. When I (and my mom, and one of my older sisters) eat an E meal, if it has rice or quinoa in it, we usually get stomachaches. We soak it; and we make sure to eat a lot of protein as well, but after a meal with basic E structure—chicken breast or fish, rice or quinoa, and a veggie—we almost always get a stomachache. We’ve actually stopped eating rice ’cause it was so bad; worse than quinoa.
But it doesn’t happen with other E fuels— oats, or sweet potatoes, or fruit.
Do you have any idea what could be causing this, and how to stop it?
Briana Thomas says
Hi Emma! I’m no doctor, and I’m afraid I have no idea what would be causing that! Sorry!

Wha-wha-whaaaaat?! You’re not a doctor? 🙂 🙂 🙂
I know; I just thought that maybe as a fellow THT (teen 🙂 ) (Oh wait—you’re not a teen anymore! Whoops.. :/ ) you may have had a similar problem. Oh well. I’m happy for you, at any rate. 😛
Thanks!
Briana Thomas says
Haha…nope, just clearing that up. 😛
