Healthy Toaster Pizza Pocket

Ingredients
  • ½ a Joseph's Reduced Carb/Flax, Oat Bran & Whole Wheat Pita Bread
  • Tomato paste
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni (regular or turkey)
Instructions
  1. Spread tomato paste into half a Joseph's pita. Fill the pita with mozzarella cheese (slabs would probably be easier for this purpose than shredded) and pepperoni slices. Pop in a toaster and toast until the cheese is melted and the pita is toasty. Be careful not to tear holes in your pita or your toaster might get messy...or catch fire...or both. Just be careful and use common sense, please and thank you.

Trim Healthy Mamas, I haven't run numbers but I'm guessing that if you use half a pita, tomato paste, low-fat mozzarella or a Lite Laughing Cow cheese wedge, and turkey pepperoni, this would actually be a Fuel Pull.
For a totally awesome variation on this, fry this pita pocket in lots of coconut oil for maximum comfort food! Hot pepper cheese is great inside this pita, btw.
