Ice Creamed Lemonade
THM:FP, low carb, low fat, sugar free, gluten/nut free - my healthy version of a Chick-fil-A Frosted Lemonade!
Serves: 1
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • ⅓ cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk (use carton coconut milk for a nut free version)
  • 3 T lemon juice
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • Rounded ¼ tsp. glucomannan
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 doonks THM Pure Stevia Extract Powder (a doonk is 1/32 tsp.)
  • ½ scoop whey protein powder
  1. Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Feel free to add more ice for a thicker shake. Adjust sweetener to taste, if needed (I like mine fairly tart).
Some whipping cream in this would probably be good (use in place of some of the almond milk), but would take it out of the low fat category (and turn this into an S for Trim Healthy Mamas).
Update: I changed the name to "Ice Creamed Lemonade" on 12.6.16, but the recipe is the same as always.
