Heat your butter or coconut oil in a nonstick skillet until good and hot. When the oil is hot, dip your sliced zucchini one at a time into the egg wash, then into the golden flaxmeal (covering both sides well). Place in the hot butter/coconut oil and fry on both sides until crispy and golden-brown. Season with salt and pepper and serve.

I've been told that this works successfully to make fried pickles too!
