Mozzarella-Mushroom-Bacon Fritter
 
 
A melt-in-your-mouth, totally guilty-feeling, deep-fried burst of yumminess...and you don't have to feel guilty at all! This is one of the yummiest ways to get that coconut oil down your goozle pipe. THM:S, Low-carb, Sugar free

Ingredients
  • ½ Joseph's low-carb pita
  • Fresh mushrooms
  • Celery
  • Garlic-herb seasoning
  • Prepared horseradish
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Turkey bacon
  • 2 T refined coconut oil for frying, divided
Instructions
  1. Fry the vegetables (enough to fill up your half pita), garlic-herb seasoning, and horseradish in 1 T coconut oil until cooked to your liking.
  2. Stuff the pita with the vegetables, cheese, and bacon. Fry the pita in the other tablespoon of coconut oil until crispy. Pour the excess coconut oil from frying over your pita and enjoy!
Notes
Serve with Ranch dressing or make your own dipping sauce with sour cream and Ranch seasoning.
