*Tomato powder. I had some dehydrated tomatoes on hand that we had made from garden tomatoes in our dehydrator a year or two ago, so I ground them up in a coffee grinder to make my tomato powder.
Here's a link to a similar-looking product from Amazon. The tomato powder adds a great flavor, and I do not recommend leaving it out.
This spice rub is a Fuel Pull for Trim Healthy Mamas and can be used in any fuel setting. Tomatoes are something you want to go sort of easy on in an S setting, but the amount used in this rub comes out to a fraction of a teaspoon of tomato powder per serving, so that's not a concern.
