Mocha Frappé
 
 
THM:FP (can be used in Deep S setting with Deep S fat source), low carb, low fat, sugar free, gluten/egg/dairy free (allergy info for frappé as written) | For a nut-free version, use carton (not canned) coconut milk in place of the unsweetened almond milk. Most people with nut allergies can handle coconut products, but check with your doctor first to make sure.

  1. Blend all the ingredients together in a high-powered blender until smooth. (I use a Vitamix.)
  2. As written, this frappé is a THM Fuel Pull and dairy free (not to mention delicious). For a slightly creamier FP that isn't dairy free, replace 3 T. of the almond milk with half and half. Use up to 6 T. of half and half in place of some of the almond milk for a Light S.
  3. For a mocha chip frappé (THM:S), feel free to add a handful of sugar-free chocolate chips (such as Lily's brand) or a square of 85% dark chocolate with the other ingredients in the blender, then garnish with homemade whipped cream or a squirt of Reddi-wip and a sprinkling of additional chocolate chips.
Notes
I recommend collagen over whey protein powder in this recipe because collagen is tasteless and doesn't fluff up as much as protein powder.
As written (without toppings or additions), this frappé can actually be used in a Deep S setting! It doesn't have any fats of its own but can help fill you up along with a Deep S meal.
