Every year we spend a week on the South Carolina coast with my mom’s extended family. This has been a highlight of the year for as long as I can remember, but the family has grown quite significantly since we first started going! I always have fun taking pictures of the scenery. If you keep your eyes peeled for beauty and hidden treasures, you’ll always find them.
We go through a lot of laundry…
My dad and grandpa…
Katelyn was confused by the name of this real estate company.
I love the symmetry and detail of coastal architecture and landscaping.
This reminded me of The Hobbit.
I always look at the fixer-upper houses wistfully. It would be so fun to remodel one. (I say that never having attempted it.)
The porch lights at dusk are so inviting.
Meanwhile Katelyn was vlogging our walk down the road. Sometimes I pretended I wasn’t with her. 😛
And then sometimes you have a total disregard for symmetry. That’s annoying.
Katelyn and I walked all the way down to the end of the beach and back one day. 8.2 miles total. That was fun.
Maybe one of these days she’ll actually post some of her vlogs somewhere. Right now she’s just practicing. I’m the blogger; she’s the videographer. It’s perfect.
Treehugger…she loves palm trees…
Interesting yard décor…
I have a soft spot for cool mailboxes. This was a winner.
