My grandpa takes our whole family to the beach for a week every May (before the public schools let out, so it’s pretty private), and this annual vacation is a huge highlight for us. We love being with our cousins and enjoying the sand and water. There are 26 of us altogether now, so you can imagine how full our rented house, huge though it may be, is! I had fun with my camera on vacation, and I finally got around to editing some of the pictures, so here’s a pictorial tour of Litchfield Beach, South Carolina (near Myrtle Beach).
My grandpa’s name is Albert, and the house is on Albert Ln.:

My cousin Brandon. He’s almost exactly a year younger than I am and we’ve always been very close:
My and my not-so-little cousin Brandon:
And these were the shots showing our true personalities. As you can tell, it’s almost impossible to get a perfect picture when the two of us are together:
My little cousin Autumn. I was spying on her through a crack in the door out into the hallway and thought her expression was cute:
My newest crochet project (a hat that turned into a beanie when I didn’t follow the instructions) and my reading material for the week:
A random cat dumpster-diving:
I thought this sign was slightly disturbing. Yeah, some of the children in our house could do some damage to the unsuspecting passerby…haha…:
My grandma’s maiden name is Dixon, so I thought this was neat:
