Do you get tired of eating eggs for breakfast every morning? They’re really healthy, especially when scrambled up in some good ol’ butter or coconut oil (thank you, Big Fat Surprise!), but they can get monotonous. Never fear, because I’ve got 5 new ways for you to eat your eggs, and each idea requires only a few pizzazz ingredients, all of which can be found at Walmart. What could be easier?
(Please note that the extra 5 ingredients does not include the eggs, coconut oil/butter, salt, and pepper. All of these recipes are done with scrambled eggs.)
Look below for a printable version of these recipes all in one spot.
Philly Cheesesteak: coconut oil, eggs, salt, pepper, mushrooms, onions, swiss cheese, steak sauce
You can either sauté the mushrooms and onions in with the eggs or separately. Top with grated swiss cheese and steak sauce.
Pizza: coconut oil, eggs, salt, pepper, garlic in some form (I like the crushed garlic in the jar from Trader Joe’s), oregano, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni (You could also add tomato sauce and/or veggies like onions, peppers, mushrooms, and olives if you’re ambitious. I was not.)
Stir the garlic and oregano into the eggs while you’re scrambling them. Top with mozzarella and pepperoni slices.
Tex-Mex: coconut oil, eggs, salt, pepper, garlic, lemon pepper, chili powder, sour cream, salsa (optional: top with sautéed veggies, hot sauce, cheese if you want to go all out)
Sauté the eggs with the garlic, lemon pepper, and chili powder. Top with sour cream and salsa.
This is perhaps my favorite. I know it sounds weird, but it works. Trust me.
Cinnamon Roll: eggs, salt, pepper, vanilla, unsweetened almond milk, Truvia, cinnamon, butter (optional additions: whipped cream and chopped 85% dark chocolate)
Scramble the eggs with a dash of vanilla and a little unsweetened almond milk. Top with a sprinkle of Truvia or other sweetener of choice and some cinnamon. Melt a pat of butter on the top. If you want to go super-indulgent, add a little whipped cream and chopped 85% dark chocolate on top.
Buffalo: eggs, salt, pepper, butter, hot sauce, cheese
Scramble the eggs until mostly set, then add butter and hot sauce to coat and finish cooking (don’t overcook!). Top with cheese.

Are these all S
Yes they are.
Hey Briana,
How do you know how much cheese to add to the eggs for a S meal? Or how much fat to use for an S meal in general? Thanks in advance!!
Hi Vickie! There really isn’t a limit to the fat you can have in an S meal, but you don’t want to go overboard and have 1000 calories in a serving, either. 😛 I like to vary the amount I use. Sometimes I go with a more indulgent thick layer of cheese, but more often it’s just a sprinkling that satisfies my cheese cravings but doesn’t overload me with tons of excess calories to burn.
Wow! The cinnamon roll idea is great! Can’t wait to try.
I also enjoy a mediterranean version: oregano, basil, diced red pepper and onion, spinach, then topped with a little feta.
Cool ideas! I get tired of eggs so thanks for some fun new ideas! I made a two egg omlet this morning with pepperoni & mozzarella inside, then topped it with pizza sauce and a touch of sour cream 🙂
I finally tried the cinnamon roll eggs and they were yummy! It seems weird, but it was good! You have some great ideas, Briana!
For the philly cheesesteak eggs, what sauce do you use? All the ones I’ve looked at have sugar in them. 🙁
I’m not sure what brand it is. If it has sugar, it’s a very small amount per serving. I guess I look at it like store-bought salad dressings – if it only has a gram or two of sugar per serving, it can’t do me too much harm.
I have never considered turning my eggs into a cinnamon roll before, what a great idea!
