This Pumpkin Cheesecake Shake is just what it sounds like – pumpkin cheesecake in milkshake form! THM S (with Fuel Pull option)
Yet again I’m receiving inspiration from my mother. When I was still living at home she came marching down to my basement workspace one day with a milkshake in hand saying, “Here, taste this!” She had concocted a pumpkin pie shake. Since there was cream cheese in it I thought it tasted more like a pumpkin cheesecake shake, but whatever it was, it was good. Therefore I stole her idea, made a shake with the same ingredients, and measured everything out for you lovely people.
Don’t want a cheesecake shake?
If you don’t want a cheesecake flavor, substitute some heavy whipping cream for the cream cheese and you have a pumpkin pie flavor!
Want to make it Fuel Pull?
To make a Fuel Pull version of this shake, use low fat cottage cheese and omit the cream cheese. It’ll still be awesome and become a nice change for your body calorie-wise.

Pumpkin Cheesecake Shake
- Total Time: 5 minutes
- Yield: 1 serving
Description
This Pumpkin Cheesecake Shake is just what it sounds like – pumpkin cheesecake in milkshake form! THM S (with Fuel Pull option)
Ingredients
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 1/3 cup unsweetened almond or cashew milk
- 1/4 cup low fat cottage cheese
- 2–4 tablespoons whey protein powder or collagen
- 2 ounces reduced fat cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons canned pumpkin puree
- 2 ½ teaspoons THM Super Sweet Blend (to taste)*
- 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- Dash of salt
- Dash of vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon glucomannan
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to a blender – I love my Vitamix! Add the glucomannan last, right before blending so it doesn’t clump.
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth. Taste and adjust if needed. Add more ice and glucomannon for a thicker shake if desired. Enjoy!

THM Pure Stevia Extract Powder

Notes
*The original recipe called for 3 doonks (3/32 teaspoon) THM Pure Stevia Extract Powder as the sweetener, but I find that Sweet Blend gives it a more balanced flavor. Sweeten to taste.
If you don’t have pumpkin pie spice on hand, try using a dash each of cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, and ginger (to taste).
For a Fuel Pull shake, use low fat cottage cheese and omit the cream cheese.
Replace the cream cheese with 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream for a non-cheesecake flavor.
Allergy info: gluten free, egg free, and nut free – use carton coconut milk instead of the almond milk if needed (most people with tree nut allergies can have coconut products, but confirm with your doctor first)

There’s already cottage cheese in the recipe. To make it a FP, ar you saying increase cottage cheese by 2oz (the amount of the cream cheese) or just omit cream cheese entirely without increasing the cottage cheese?
Just omit the cream cheese entirely and make sure to use low fat cottage cheese instead of full fat.
This is amazing thank you for sharing! I just ran out of protein powder, can I sub collagen?
Thanks so much! Excited to try next week with the actual recipe. 🙂
★★★★★
Sure, collagen is just fine! It may not be quite as creamy, but I actually prefer the lack of flavor of collagen over whey protein now.
Yum! Hit the spot today. Thanks!!
I made this for a snack today. It was super delicious.

Dee-lish lunch today with this shake!

I made the FP version of this, and it was delicious! Thank you!

Can you use a full fat cream cheese with this?
Yep!
I made this for a breakfast today and it was so YUMMY! Thank you!

This recipe looks wonderful! I enjoy many of your recipes! I am somewhat new to THM & am wondering if the Swansons protein is condidered THM plan acceptable? Thanks!
Hi Amy! THM doesn’t endorse Swanson’s protein powder any more because they prefer whey protein isolate to whey protein concentrate, but the nutritional info is great and tons of people use it because it tastes good and is affordable. 🙂 I personally don’t have any problem with using it.
Just make this right now! The sooner the better! Oh my yumminess!

I’m so glad you liked it!
I just made this (but I added coconut oil & heavy cream, because I’m practicing keto)… Oh my GOSH!! It was so insanely yummy. Now that my can of pumpkin has finally been opened, me thinks I’ll be having this milk shake A LOT in the coming days. Thanks, Briana! You are a genius. <3
Thanks so much for trying it, Mindy! Good additions!
I know this recipe has been out for ages, but I just wanted to say it is one of my total go-to recipes! Thanks so much for sharing your gifts with us.
I’m so glad you enjoy it, Megan! Thanks for commenting!
I’m new to thm. I have Neufchâtel cheese. If I used that instead of regular cream cheese, would that make it a fuel pull? Thank you. ( I found this recipe and link to your blog on Pinterest)
I’m not sure of the exact nutritional info on your cream cheese, but if you keep it to 5g of fat or less, then this would be considered a FP. 🙂
Is this a dessert, breakfast or snack?
Thank You,
Lynnita
It can be any of the above. 🙂
Simply delicious!! Just what I was craving, and a definite keeper recipe!! I did half cream, half cream cheese… best of both worlds. 🙂 Thank you for all your amazing recipes Briana!

Just made this…very yum-o! I look forward to trying many of your other creations.

I loved this!!!!!!! I actually used 2 light laughing cow cheese wedges instead of cream cheese to keep it FP. ? SO YUMMY!!
I love the image of your mother helping you, brings tears to my eyes.
This is such a great idea! Id take a healthy version of a classic dessert any day! Love the idea of using cottage cheese for added protein!
