Hey y’all! Happy Monday! I have lots of exciting things coming up this week…today’s post will let you get to know some of my advertisers a bit better, then later on in the week I’m going to be giving you some information about the mysteries of different gelatin brands (finally!), sharing a Blueberry Custard Bar recipe, and showing you some of my music camp highlights. You will hopefully be seeing some design changes on my blog this week as well, if everything goes as planned. Meanwhile, I’m wrapping up recipe testing for my cookbook, participating in my church’s VBS, and singing with Rivertree & Friends this weekend as we perform the southeast premiere of Dan Forrest’s new setting of Jubilate Deo (you can find more info here). Life is full, but God is good, and I have been so blessed this past week. I actually felt like I had some free time, and I’ve been basking in the afterglow of music camp. Being with a large group of young people passionate about pursuing excellence in music for the glory of God…there are no words to adequately describe the experience. I’m hoping that Shenandoah Christian Music Camp will put some pictures up on its Facebook page soon….
Back to business. I’m privileged to work with some amazing advertisers, so I’ve started writing a monthly post that gives my advertisers a chance to tell my readers more about themselves, their companies, and any new products/sales they have! The monthly advertiser spotlight posts are free for my advertisers to participate in. Other people are welcome to contact me about participating as well; the fee for this is $5 per picture/paragraph per month and I reserve all right to decline advertisement interest if the product is a) controversial, b) not something I myself support, or c) part of a pyramid marketing strategy. Because the advertisement fee is so low, contributors are expected to share the blog post with their social media friends and followers so we can all work together to build exposure for small businesses. 🙂 You can go to this page to learn more about advertising with me. Visit this page to find my contact form.

“…basking in the afterglow of music camp.”
Yes! I totally get that! I went a few times a couple years ago and every time the first well of June rolls around, that’s where my mind goes. I love the musical tidbits you share now and then. Blessings!
Aw, that’s neat! Thanks for stopping by!
Lydia was excited to see the post today, but what she was most impressed with….your profile picture. She said, “The horse’s ears are even up!” Lol!
Haha…spoken like a true horse gal! It’s amazingly difficult to catch both ears in an upright position…
