Heritage Gallery Outdoor Art, a family-run business based out of Myerstown, PA, produces gorgeous outdoor plaques that hold up to rain and sun. The artwork is all original, and believe me when I say that it is beautifully done! Marian Zimmerman and her daughter Lydia Jo Martin are the hands behind the beautiful paintings that decorate Heritage Gallery’s one-of-a-kind pieces (to learn more about Marian and Lydia Jo, click here). Marian sent me one of their small slider plaques, complete with a display stand, to review, and you can see it displayed in the pictures in this post. Heritage Gallery Outdoor Art is giving away one of these small sliders (in the print of your choice) with a stand to one of my blessed readers! To enter to win, scroll down to the Rafflecopter widget at the bottom of this post.
This plaque size is perfect for display in a flower bed or flower pot and comes with its own wrought iron holder. I was really impressed with the quality of craftsmanship in both the plaque and the holder. In fact, I had absolutely no complaints for either (and I’m quite picky when it comes to quality). The plaque is covered with a weather-resistant finish, the colors are vibrant and true, and it looks like it’ll last a long time in the fern bed beside our front porch.
Heritage Gallery offers all kinds of different styles of plaques and holders. Choose from animals, flowers, birds, holiday themes, rustic, inspirational, and more! You can also order personalized signs. I really like the sign that Marian sent me; it has pansies and grape clusters displayed on a pretty yellow background. Some of my other favorites are this horse sign, cute kitten sign, “Praise the Lord”, and “His eye is on the sparrow”.
I was photographing this plaque in my front yard when my little brother asked me, “Why don’t you take a picture of it with me so they can see how big it is?” Genius idea.
