From all appearances, I’m hopping on the coffee drink trend – but I won’t be buying them at Starbucks! Nope, not when I can make my own healthier, cheaper versions in my very own blender! This Mocha Frappé is another basic recipe in my growing arsenal of coffee shop favorites. Thanks to many of your suggestions, I have quite a few more involved flavors to recreate in the future, but I thought I should get the basics covered first. Today’s frappé is a THM Fuel Pull (and DAIRY FREE!) as written, but you can also turn it into a THM:S with some of the tweaks I’ve given in the recipe below. Hey, you can even have a Mocha Chip Frappé with the simple addition of some 85% dark chocolate (or Lily’s chips, if you have ’em)!
Note: As written (without toppings), this frappé can actually be used in a Deep S setting! It doesn’t have any fats of its own but can help fill you up along with a Deep S meal.

You can pin this recipe here:

- 7 coffee ice cubes (coffee frozen in standard ice cube trays)
- 1 c. unsweetened almond milk
- 2 T. collagen
- 1 T. cocoa powder (scant)
- 1½ tsp. THM Super Sweet Blend
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/32 tsp. (3 doonks) THM Pure Stevia Extract Powder
- ½ tsp. glucomannan
- Blend all the ingredients together in a high-powered blender until smooth. (I use a Vitamix.)
- As written, this frappé is a THM Fuel Pull and dairy free (not to mention delicious). For a slightly creamier FP that isn't dairy free, replace 3 T. of the almond milk with half and half. Use up to 6 T. of half and half in place of some of the almond milk for a Light S.
- For a mocha chip frappé (THM:S), feel free to add a handful of sugar-free chocolate chips (such as Lily's brand) or a square of 85% dark chocolate with the other ingredients in the blender, then garnish with homemade whipped cream or a squirt of Reddi-wip and a sprinkling of additional chocolate chips.
As written (without toppings or additions), this frappé can actually be used in a Deep S setting! It doesn't have any fats of its own but can help fill you up along with a Deep S meal.

This is the first frappe recipe I enjoyed and actually finished. Thank you!
Thank you so much for making it dairy free! We have lots of allergies at our house and any help with making things easier to cook for my family is greatly appreciated! Bless you! Can’t wait to try it!
Love cold coffee drinks, especially ones with chocolate! I have been adding ice and blending your iced coffee recipe to make it like a frappe for a long time, and it is so good. I’ll have to try this one as well.
Hey thanks a lot for this recipe!! I made an “unhealthy” one the other day, but….. it defiantly makes you feel unhealthy!! :/ Can’t wait to try out this recipe instead!
