If the Vanilla Frappé and S’mores Frappé weren’t for you because you hate coffee, today’s PB&J Frappé was made with you in mind. Since a frappé is a blended drink with ice and doesn’t necessarily include coffee as some may think, I feel fully justified in calling today’s concoction a frappé. Whether or not you decide to try such an odd flavor is entirely up to you, but I promise – it’s so worth it. I already have a PB&J Milkshake recipe on my website, but this frappé is thinner and uses blueberries instead of strawberries. Light, refreshing, sweet, and creamy but not heavy, this PB&J Frappé makes a great snack or dessert during the summer!
Be sure to check out the Notes section of the recipe for tweaks that you can use to make this a THM Fuel Pull instead of a Light S. If you’re at goal weight (or just really hungry), you’ll also be able to find tweaks to amp up the calories and make the drink richer and creamier. You can feel free to experiment with different berries as well. Strawberries aren’t quite as strong in flavor as blueberries, but raspberries would be perfect in this!

Creamy PB&J Oatmeal

- 1½ c. crushed ice
- 1 c. unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ c. + 2 T. half and half
- ½ c. frozen blueberries
- ¼ c. defatted peanut flour
- 2 T. collagen
- 1 tsp. THM Super Sweet Blend (or more, to taste)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/32 tsp. (3 doonks) THM Pure Stevia Extract Powder
- ½ tsp. glucomannan
- Blend the ingredients together in a high-powered blender until smooth. (I use this Vitamix.)
For a richer, creamier (and more calorie dense) frappé you can use 2 T. natural peanut butter in place of the defatted peanut flour.
Feel free to substitute other frozen berries for the blueberries. Raspberries would be better than strawberries since they are stronger in flavor. Hey, even cranberries would be cool! (You may need to add more sweetener.)
You can try using whey protein in place of the collagen, but I don't care for the taste and the frappé will be fluffier.
