You could say there are a lot of interesting things happening over here today.
- My new baking mix recipe…
- …which I used in the ultimate brownie recipe that I have been working on for FOREVER.
- A giveaway of THM’S new Gentle Sweet, which I used in the above brownies ^^.
I happen to love pure stevia extract powder, especially Trim Healthy Mama’s brand (which can be purchased from the THM online store). The THM brand has a great flavor, and is much more “forgiving” than most stevia brands, should you accidentally use too much. However, even stevia has its drawbacks, one of the most serious being that sometimes it doesn’t pair very well with the taste of chocolate when used on its own. #bigproblem I happen to love chocolate, so I need a sweetener that tastes awesome in chocolate stuff (and other stuff that’s more “touchy” about sweeteners). Enter Gentle Sweet. The THM Gentle Sweet is a mix of non-GMO xylitol, erythritol, and pure stevia extract powder. This unique blend provides a “sugary-sweet” taste that is perfect for those people just switching over from plain ol’ white sugar. Plus, THM Gentle Sweet is powdered and easily dissolvable; you don’t have to grind it before using it in smooth recipes like frostings and Skinny Chocolate (recipe in the book Trim Healthy Mama).
