This Basic Ham & Egg Quiche is a great way to use up leftover ham! THM S, low carb
Yeah, this recipe is fairly self explanatory.
- Basic.
- Place ham, cheese, and spinach in pan.
- Blend some eggs and seasonings and such and pour over the top.
- Bake.
- Great flavor and texture.
Great for make ahead breakfasts!
I really enjoy this quiche cold, and it also reheats well. This makes it perfect for a big pan of on-the-go breakfasts and lunches!
This recipe started out as breakfast cups, but I found that a plain bake in a 9” x 13” pan is a lot easier. Simply cut and serve. Muffin cups may be cute, but I hate washing muffin tins and I also hate trying to dig my mini quiche out of a soggy liner.

Description
This Basic Ham & Egg Quiche is a great way to use up leftover ham! THM S, low carb
This quiche is great cold and reheats well! This makes it perfect for a big pan of on-the-go breakfasts and lunches!
Ingredients
- 4 cups loosely packed fresh spinach
- 2 cups chopped fully cooked ham
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
BLEND:
- 1 medium onion
- 10 eggs
- 1 cup unsweetened plain almond or cashew milk
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dill weed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Spread the spinach, ham, and cheese evenly in the bottom of a greased 9” x 13” glass baking pan. (Spread the whole spinach leaves on the bottom of the pan and use the other ingredients to hold it down. Or chop it if you’re feeling industrious.)
Blend the onion, eggs, almond milk, cream, and seasonings until smooth. Pour this custard evenly over the top of the ingredients in the pan. (Press the spinach, ham, and cheese layer down with a spatula if necessary to submerge it below the custard.)
Bake the quiche at 350° for 45 minutes or until just set. A little wobble is okay. Let cool 20 minutes to solidify before serving.
