Unless you live in the southern hemisphere, it’s the middle of summer right now; and where I come from, that means hot and humid! Summer also means peaches, and today’s peach slushie is the perfect solution to sticky perspiration. It’s cold and refreshing enough to perk up your wilted self on a scorching afternoon!
In case you’ve been missing my recent pep talks, right now I’m all about finding Trim Healthy Mama-friendly snacks on the lighter side because I tend to overdo my heavy S meals if I don’t watch out and that is no bueno for losing weight. This peach slushie is pretty low-cal, but it contains protein from the addition of collagen so you can use it on its own as a snack! (It can also be used as a dessert for a THM:E or FP meal.) The collagen fluffs up and makes this slushie nice and creamy in a refreshingly light sort of way. Don’t worry allergy mamas – it’s dairy free!
Only a few simple ingredients are needed to make this quick slushie, but it packs a great flavor and will really help you get rehydrated after sweating on a sticky summer afternoon! If I had some raspberries on hand, I would’ve added a handful for a nice pop of color and some extra tartness.

- 1 medium to large peach, peeled, stone removed (thawed if frozen)*
- 1 c. ice
- ½ c. water
- 2 T. collagen**
- 1/16 tsp. (2 doonks) THM Pure Stevia Extract Powder
- Dash vanilla extract
- Blend all the ingredients together until smooth and creamy. Enjoy!
**Do not omit the collagen: it's important for creaminess and body. You can try replacing it with vanilla or plain protein powder, but I don't care for the taste.
A few raspberries would be a yummy addition!

Would this be considered a whole meal, THM E? Still learning. It’s delicious! I can’t believe I get to have it all!
Yes, since this slushie contains protein it can be used as a meal on its own. 🙂
Delicious! This refreshing peach slushie provided the perfect prerun fuel (2 hours before my run) today! I did decrease the liquid & ice a bit because liquid sloshing in the stomach while running=side cramps for me. Thanks Briana!! ??
Hey, Jolene! Glad you liked it!
You commented about Louisiana growing peaches – in fact they do! In a town east of you on I20, Mitcham’s Peach Orchard in Ruston has the best peaches!! Peach season is now and the varieties are yummy!! Wish I was back there …
Thank you, Karen! I thought they probably did, but just aren’t as plentiful as they would be back in South Carolina. I’ll have to check them out!
If I could, I would give this more than 5 stars. This drink is outstanding!! Thanks, Briana for another wonderful recipe.
Aw, thank you, Clare! That makes me happy happy!!
Sounds so yummy. I love the taste of raspberries ~ just cannot endure the many seeds.
I would just keep mine very peachy!!
