What are the temps right now where you live? Upstate South Carolina has definitely cooled off, and since I work in an unfinished basement most of the time, I find myself keeping a hot drink handy more often than not. Between meals I stick to tea or water so I don’t constantly fuel my body, but sometimes I make something special for a snack or dessert. The following drinks are meant to be drunk with a meal or on their own as a snack, not sipped on all day long. I thought it would be fun to make a top ten list! Making a list of ten of my favorite hot drinks was easy enough, but putting them in order was HARD! The order of this list may change depending on my mood. 😛
NOTE: All the “Velvety” drinks you see below belong in the THM Deep S category because they focus on foundational fats like butter and coconut oil and cut out ingredients that are usually considered S or FP ingredients but contain a few more carbs (like most dairy products, berries, tomatoes, onions, etc.). Because Deep S recipes are so streamlined, they really fire up the metabolism. You can CLICK HERE to see all my Velvety drink recipes. My Velvety drinks incorporate Bulletproof-style elements such as protein powder or collagen, coconut oil, and butter and are blended to frothy, creamy perfection.
