Hey y’all! Did you enjoy all the simple 5-ingredient snacks and drinks I shared with you this week? I hope so! Speaking as a blogger, it feels strange and almost “cheap” sometimes to post such stupidly simple recipes. But honestly, the simple recipes are often the ones that strike a chord with my reader base, so I try to toss some into the routine every once in awhile. This particular “theme week” was inspired by the comments I received when Trim Healthy Mama was kind enough to share one of my more complicated recipes on their Facebook page. Nearly all the comments had something to do with the list of ingredients (apparently everyone thought it was too long, even though they were practically getting three recipes in one post and that particular cake was clearly something for special occasions). Inspired to come up with some short ingredient lists, I decided to focus on 5-ingredient recipes for awhile. Here’s a roundup of the 5 new 5-ingredient snack/drink recipes I posted this week, some previous 5-ingredient wonders from my kitchen, and some of my blogging buddies’ favorite few-ingredient snacks.

I love your PB&J shake! I have one at least 5 days a week. Today I ran out of strawberries, so I added 2 tsp of cocoa powder to make a chocolate flavor. Who doesn’t like chocolate and peanut butter together? Looking forward to trying your other recipes.
